At the foot of the 2,941-metre-high Hochkönig, a versatile winter dreamland spreads out in winter. In the heart of Salzburger Land and about an hour from the city of Salzburg, the three holiday villages of Dienten, Maria Alm and Mühlbach welcome you to a holiday on the Hochkönig. A Mountain with Many Faces
With its 2,941 metres, the Hochkönig is one of the highest peaks in the province of Salzburg and geographically one of the most prominent mountains in the Alps. The mountain massif rises impressively and unmistakably as the highest mountain range in the Berchtesgaden Alps. At its feet, three villages form part of the Hochkönig region: Dienten, Maria Alm and Mühlbach. These can be wonderfully combined on hiking tours in summer.
